[ Orchid (Brassidium Shooting Star 'Black Gold') | Posted on March 9, 2021 ]

This one bloomed again for me. I was shocked when it
was green and no orange/gold anywhere.
Did some research and found out that it turns Orange & Gold as the flower ages!
I bought it in bloom and guess the flowers were a few weeks old then.
Pretty cool, you get 2 flowers in 1!

[ Garden Phlox (Phlox paniculata 'Jordan Schuster') | Posted on September 20, 2020 ]

Phlox Jordan Schuster is Fantastic! I trimmed the dead flower heads after it bloomed this year.
(I do this to all my Phlox.) Usually I get a small rebloom, but this year the rebloom is more fantastic than the first!

Image ID. I could be wrong, but 'Red Apple' is Not variegated. All the images on this page look like
Baby Sunrose (Mesembryanthemum cordifolium 'Variegata')

[ Donkey Tail (Euphorbia myrsinites) | Posted on April 30, 2019 ]

Had this plant, it was Beautiful. I was aware the sap could cause irritation.
BUT...yikes! I got some of the milky sap on my glove (which in turn got on me) while thinning it out and I'm not kidding, the reaction was worse than Poison Ivy.
It is gone now. Took a year or 2 to completely eradicate the monster!
I wouldn't advise having this around if you have kids, if they get the sap on their hands, rub their eyes or get it in their mouth, plan on a trip to the ER.

[ Spider Flower (Tarenaya houtteana 'Violet Queen') | Posted on April 20, 2019 ]

I live in zone 6.
When I plant these, they come back from seed the next spring.

[ Spider Flower (Tarenaya hassleriana 'Rose Queen') | Posted on April 20, 2019 ]

I live in zone 6.
When I grew these, they come back from seed the next spring.

[ Water Snowball (Gymnocoronis spilanthoides) | Posted on March 4, 2019 ]

I get this plant every year for my pond and the Monarchs.
Monarchs adore the blooms. It is not invasive here in Michigan, as it dies in the winter.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Notify Ground Crew') | Posted on December 21, 2018 ]

I first saw this cultivar at my sister-in-law's Daylily Garden. I wanted a few tall ones, so she gave me some fans.
It was about 6 feet tall in her garden. Mine was small the first few years, but it has multiplied into a large clump and is about 5 feet tall.
Nice yellow blooms hold up in hot weather.
It is one of my favorites, as I always know it will put up a lot of scapes and perform every year.

[ Hendrix’s Liveforever (Dudleya hendrixii) | Posted on December 16, 2018 ]

The plant's name translates directly to "Hendrix's liveforever," as Mark Dodero, the former graduate student from SDSU who is credited with discovering the plant, was listening to Hendrix's "Voodoo Child" at the moment he found the plant.
