[ Tall Bearded Iris (Iris 'Unbelievable Love') | Posted on April 21, 2022 ] Unbelievable Love is blooming early this yr (2022) or others are way behind & it's on time! Very strong fragrance, multiplied nicely |
[ Tall Bearded Iris (Iris 'Texas Two Step') | Posted on May 2, 2020 ] Texas Two Step continues to increase yearly (in fact I didn't realize how big my clump was this season and only had half the plant tagged as such... SURPRISE!) |
[ Tall Bearded Iris (Iris 'Drinks at Sunset') | Posted on May 2, 2020 ] Drinks at Sunset grew for 2 seasons, then "burst out" into glorious blooms for the first time this year! Well worth the wait. PATIENCE is much needed in the gardening world, at times. |
[ Tall Bearded Iris (Iris 'Luminager') | Posted on April 6, 2020 ] 1st year to bloom, received as a bonus from Stout Gardens@Dancingtree, 2018 |
[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Frans Hals') | Posted on July 15, 2019 ] My 1st year to "SEE" this classic beauty! Ever hear "if a tree falls in the forest, and no one's there, does it make any sound?" |
[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Matthew Martin') | Posted on June 22, 2019 ] Matthew Martin has an interesting color combination. What one needs to REALIZE is the changes he makes throughout the day (as seen in the most confusing photos). If you observe it at the end of the day (as I did on his 1st bloom), you wonder how 'Persian Ruby' made its way into your garden!! |
[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Siloam Amazing Grace') | Posted on June 22, 2019 ] Amazing Grace is a strong grower, with large true yellow blooms. We've had rains and now upper-90 temperatures, the color not phased by either. This one gets afternoon sun. Love it. It's planted in my family memory garden. |
[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Heavenly Dark Matter') | Posted on May 24, 2019 ] Heavenly Dark Matter is such an impressive daylily in my garden. The 7" blooms, sometimes 2 at once, seem to glow at early sunrise. Rain doesn't affect this beauty with its strong stalks, no spotting. |
[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Popeye the Sailor') | Posted on May 24, 2019 ] Popeye the Sailor, normally an early blooming evergreen, turned very brown with this year's late freeze (4-5 weeks ago, Tx zn7) I was thinking I would have to wait for a rebloom later, but..what a COMEBACK!! Popeye is a strong one and a great multiplier. Usually reblooms for me late August, too. |
