[ Hot Pepper (Capsicum baccatum 'Ubatuba Cambuci') | Posted on August 28, 2019 ]

The seed package I got at New Mexico State labeled this plant as 'Christmas Bell' (Uba Tuba).

[ Olive Tree (Olea europaea) | Posted on August 11, 2019 ]

Although the fruits are eaten raw, as in uncooked, they have to be processed to remove bitter compounds.

[ Triangle Palm (Dypsis decaryi) | Posted on April 6, 2014 ]

According to the Los Angeles Arboretum, fewer than 1000 plants remain in the wild in Madagascar.

[ Hybrid Tea Rose (Rosa 'Mister Lincoln') | Posted on March 16, 2014 ]

This is a trouble-free plant in my climate. It gets very tall. The fragrance is wonderful.

[ Greater Periwinkle (Vinca major) | Posted on March 16, 2014 ]

Very invasive in my climate. A large stand of it came with the house. We tried to get rid of it but couldn't remove every molecule and it has grown back and even spread. I don't know whether it was vinca or lack or water that killed off the irises that were planted in the vinca bed.

[ Rose (Rosa 'Moon Shadow') | Posted on March 16, 2014 ]

Nice color, but suckers something awful. I've not been diligent in removing suckers and the legitimate bush looks sickly while the suckers thrive.

[ Pennants (Chasmanthe floribunda) | Posted on March 10, 2014 ]

Very invasive in zone 10 of California. Will self sow and grow from new corms.
