What a stellar performer! One of my very favorites. Huge blooms, but every one opens perfectly due to the nice wide spacing. Great waxy substance, so blooms hold up to rain and wind. Very long blooming period even in my 5a zone. LOVE IT.

Cute little 4", lightly ruffled, creamy-melon blooms with pink-tinged midribs and greenish-yellow throat. Very tall scape with nicely spaced blooms (about 25-30) Quick increase, and is fertile both ways. Pod parent of Loretta Zink's PLUM STRIPED. A favorite here in my zone 5a garden.

The form of the flower is "irregular," so it was not registered as a UF.

I do not own this plant, but I sure would love to. I saw it growing in Judy Davisson's garden in 2014, and what an attention grabber! It stopped me in my tracks. I love that huge chalky watermark.

Love this big red! Does great in my zone 5 and always gets comments. Pod and pollen fertile.

Very nice well-branched, strong scape, and I love the unusual bloom. It's one that you can identify without a marker.

Will set pods, but I haven't had any luck with the pollen. Pollen is very pale.

Very strong, well-branched scape. Wonderful plant for later blooms here in zone 5. Great one for hybridizers who want to add strength and branching to scapes. Pod and pollen fertile.

Tall, Dark and Striking! Strong scape that holds blooms high. I've only had it one season, but I'm very impressed.

A favorite! Great branching and lots of well-spaced blooms. Lovely purple color for the late season. Pod and pollen fertile.

Does well in zone 5 Michigan too. A few blooms hang up, but surprisingly few for one with such a heavily ruffled edge. Pod and pollen fertile.

If you are lucky enough to get a chance to add this daylily to your garden ..... GRAB IT.

This is an amazing cultivar, blooms are larger than register ... 10" usually. Blooms for a long time. Started mid July here in my zone 5 garden and is still blooming on August 23rd. Both Pod and pollen fertile. Not John's usual toothy introductions, but one of his best!!!

Boy, did the attendees get it right when they awarded this one the Region 2 Englerth award in 2011.
