Big plant with lots of buds. Needs space. Amazonian.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Old King Cole') | Posted on April 18, 2018 ]

Can be a slow opener. Flat blooms are not typical.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Boundless Beauty') | Posted on April 18, 2018 ]

Grows well here in 6a. Some blooms hang up, but not that high a percentage here.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'All of My Love to You') | Posted on April 18, 2018 ]

Vigorous and attractive here in 6a.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Ethel Buccola') | Posted on April 18, 2018 ]

Performed well for several seasons and then showed tenderness here in 6a.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Ashwood Dark Side') | Posted on April 18, 2018 ]

One of the darkest in the garden here.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Susan Weber') | Posted on April 18, 2018 ]

Slow multiplier here in 6a.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Diana's Evening Gown') | Posted on April 18, 2018 ]

Not a fast multiplier here in 6a. Hardiness needs a longer test.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Moonlight Sail') | Posted on April 18, 2018 ]

Beautiful, but doesn't thrive here in 6a.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Chance Encounter') | Posted on April 18, 2018 ]

Can be a slow opener. Some days never opens flat.

[ Large Cupped Daffodil (Narcissus 'Sentinel') | Posted on March 26, 2016 ]

Some of these did not return, but we had a very cold winter in '14-'15. Stem is taller than British Gamble, but may be less hardy. Was lovely here in 2016, but rough weather can take a toll on the large flowers.
Edited 2018: Sentinel recurs fairly well. The flower is exquisitely beautiful. Stems could be stronger, but others in this color (such as British Gamble) can also nod. Lasts well in vase, as does British Gamble.
