Caption: Note the spotting caused by cold and wet. Also , the plant has some sort of gland at the point of attachment to the petiole. I don’t know what purpose that serves.

Caption: This plant was in an unheated greenhouse protected from wind. Temps dropped to 34 degrees F for three nights in a row. It kept its leaves but does show some spotting.
