Other American Species
SHREVEI (Collected in Arkansas). 36". A tall, well-branched species with flowers of a pleasing shade of lavender blue. Each branch rises to the same height as the main stalk. A very strong, hardy grower with tall straight foliage, that does well in either dry or wet place.
SHREVEI—White variation (Collected in Arkansas). 36". A very beautiful variation of the type. Blooms pure white frilled and bordered with pale blue. Very lovely and rare, and an even stronger grower than the type. Both are sweetly scented, with showy flowers, and very popular.
