Non-native invasive in Washington, Class B (do not allow to reseed). I've never seen one on properties we own in either Snohomish or Okanogan Counties, but did snap a photo farther north in southern British Columbia. It's quite a striking plant. It can overwhelm pastures and reduce forage for livestock and wildlife. Plants can be hand-pulled or dug out.
