If you are looking for a red rose with really large blooms, this would be it. Legends produces the largest roses in my garden. Nothing else comes close. The color is a nice vivid, saturated true red, which I really like. Just as all my other roses in my humid Long Island garden, Legends needs to be sprayed with systemic fungicide to stay nice and healthy and blackspot-free.

Huge, beautiful, absolute red blooms that are long lasting (1week or more). Did not see any disease or bugs. Japanese beetles were not very interested. Great cut flower. Fragrant. Moderately thirsty. Takes the heat better than most. One of my top 5. Zone 6 but I am trying to winter over in zone 4b after burying deeply and mulching with a foot of chopped leaves.
