I have to agree with comments on the weak scapes of this plant. It's beautiful, very hardy, and I love the colors. But this is the first season it has fully bloomed, and two of its scapes ended up blooming on the ground. Next season I will support them, but that's something I shouldn't have to worry about with a daylily.

The first year I had this, it didn't bloom much, but I don't blame the plant too much, being that it was new. I had heard that this plant has weak scapes and, sadly, that is very true. The scapes on COTN are lousy, and may need supporting. For daylilies (or any plant, really), I consider this a huge fault.
