The Citiline® series is a Proven Winners© collection of dwarf hydrangeas from Europe (Venice, Mars, Berlin, Paris, Vienna and Rio). Hydrangea macrophylla 'Venice Raven' (PP10928, 1999) is a compact plant with mophead flowers that range from deep blue to hot pink depending on soil pH. Flowers mature to green. Mildew resistant. Supposedly does not require pruning. Although it is rated to zone 5, winter protection may be prudent.
