Salvia 'Sweet 16' is a big improvement over the popular salvia 'Eveline.' It has larger flowers, a brighter coloring, and flower stems that are branched, which extends blooming time.

It was bred by Kevin Hurd and introduced by Walters Gardens, Inc. of Michigan in 2011.
