Plant prized for its ornamental, aromatic gray or silver foliage. Inconspicuous white or yellow flowers.
For best results (if planting more than one of these plants), place the smaller ones at least a foot apart, and the taller ones at least 2 feet apart.
    Landscape uses:
Artemisias are grown for their attractive foliage rather than for their modest flowers. Plant the lowest ones in a rock garden or use as edging plants. Plant taller artemisias in drifts in a border where their silver-gray foliage provides an interesting contrast to green leaves and is a good foil for bright flowers.
