I planted Cape Weed at the base of a slope15 years ago. It climbed my planted slope, beneath my plants, and came into a dry flat bed of dirt around my (concrete border contains it) back yard lawn. I've LOVED IT. Spring bloom is magnificent and it retards so o o many weeds that want to grow in the California San Juaquin Valley.
It blooms for a few months, then is green. I had to eliminate them in 2020. I want more! Where are they available?

Yellow daisy-like spring flowers above deeply divided gray-green leaves.
For best results (if planting more than one of these plants), space plants at least 1 foot apart from each other.
    Landscape uses:
Cape weed may be used in a wildflower garden. It is an excellent ground cover for large, dry sunny areas.
