Beautiful salvia from Peru.
The first two links are from Rolando Uria's websites. The first one is in Spanish (with pics) and the second one is translated from Spanish to English (with the same pics).

This third link is also from Rolando Uria's website. I already had it translated to English (no pics, but Rolando writes about S. 'Tanitani' in his Spring 2017 report. you have to scroll down a little to get to it). After clicking the third link, click on the small gray box in the lower left hand corner and then it comes up with his report. I clicked it for you and this is what he says regarding S. 'Tanitani'......

Salvia 'Tanitani'
"Few salvias possess a period of flowering as extensive as Salvia 'Tanitani'. This variant of Salvia oppositiflora or, perhaps, Salvia striata blooms during eight months of the year with a peak of flowering in winter and spring. So far it has been cultivated in the arid but we have recently planted a specimen in common soil to evaluate its behavior under these conditions. 'Tanitani' means 'Wild flower' in Quechua."
The last link is from Robins Salvias (aka Monty72) website. It's one of Rolando's pics, but below it are comments from Monty.
