Does anyone kind of monitor it? I was looking at it a few days ago and saw that there were a few questions people had asked but had never gotten replies.

I didn't even know there was a FB page for this site. I basically use FB for family contact and of course get flooded with political rhetoric, most of which I just delete or hide. Or scroll past.

I thought I had heard on the News, announce that the Department of Justice, is looking into charges against some involved with the social media platform.

Yes, NGA is active on every social media site- as you can see, there are multiple postings on FB every day. In addition to the posts, we receive an abundance of private messages asking questions. We always point people back to garden.org for questions and we do not actively answer gardening related questions on FB.

Our policy is to use social media as a tool to market NGA across different platforms. We want to point people to use our site and we do not want to encourage the conversation to move off of garden.org and onto FB or any other social site. All that to say- yes, we monitor, post, and maintain a presence, but we do not want try to move conversation to another platform.

It is very reassuring to know that this site is so well maintained & that privacy of personal data, is protected. Thanks to Dave, Trish, & all the rest of you that are so helpful to monitor & maintain the website. Excellent !
