Yes, NGA is active on every social media site- as you can see, there are multiple postings on FB every day. In addition to the posts, we receive an abundance of private messages asking questions. We always point people back to garden.org for questions and we do not actively answer gardening related questions on FB.
Our policy is to use social media as a tool to market NGA across different platforms. We want to point people to use our site and we do not want to encourage the conversation to move off of garden.org and onto FB or any other social site. All that to say- yes, we monitor, post, and maintain a presence, but we do not want try to move conversation to another platform.
