A High Country Gardens 2000 introduction.

It's a hybrid. The parentage is Agastache rupestris x Agastache cana.

Hybrid Hummingbird Mint (Agastache 'Desert Sunrise')

I started growing Agastache 'Desert Sunrise' in the spring of 2005, when I first started ordering from HCG. It's been one of my favorite Agastaches. It's beautiful with the orange and pink flowers.

I have grown this one as well, in two different states (California and Utah). It is one of my favorites as well, reliably hardy and returns bigger each year. The western hummingbirds love this one. It takes all the heat you can give it, and thrives in it.
