Hello, I hope you will post pictures of your favorite Doubles. I have been collecting daylilies over 10 years and just last year began to really enjoy them. I am looking for hardy ones, that perform well. Fragrance is a bonus. I live in zone 6. This year my favorite has been Silver Highlights. I love Big Kiss, Big Fuss and Vanilla Fluff.

No matter how many newer, fancier daylilies I get, Siloam Double Classic will always be a favorite of mine. It does awesome here in Ohio, and clumped up faster than any other daylily I've had. This pic is from a clump I recently cut back and divided.

I have a little one that blooms very early,
Yellow Bouquet, 18", 3" bloom, EE. This one is great at the front of a border. I also have Big Kiss, Siloam Double Classic, Siloam Olin Frazier, Siloam Peony Display and Peggy Jeffcoat.

I'm picky about doubles but I have some nice dark red ones! All Branched Out and Night Embers bloomed very pretty for me this month. I got double doubles from Night Embers here:

I have a handful of doubles but my all time favorite is Meringue Mirage.


It took a while for it to get established when I got it. But oh boy, once it did, it's gorgeous.

As for fragrant...hmmm....don't know. I NEVER can tell if a daylily is fragrant, even when it's listed as that.

Oh Teresa, you just have to get some doubles and see them in your gardens. They are all just so beautiful. Here are just a few photos of the ones I have.

My mother grows land of cotton and it is a beauty but love all those.

I just, in the past few years, got interested in doubles. Funny how our tastes change thruout the years.
