I still can't believe it is Fall already. After lows in the upper 30's low 40's, it's 60 degrees out this morning.
Our leaves are getting ready to change even though we haven't had frost yet Margaret. Further north they're turning already.

A distinct change overnight as the first fall cold front brought cooler, drier northerly air and about 1.3" of rain. 62F on the way to 70F with a cloudy start. Some of the maples are beginning fall coloring.

We had rain in the night, I am not sure how much. I will check the rain gauge later. It is cloudy now with a projected high of 73 F or 23 C. We haven't had our first frost yet.

75/53 and sunny today There was a little over 3 1/2 inches of rain in our rain gauge when we got home last night after being gone 16 days and then we got another shower. Grass needs mowed But these greeted me






Holly is loving being home. No noise so she's sleeping a lot for a couple days.

Only a trace of rain yesterday late. A lot more last night across town as I was driving home from the evening church service, however. Humidity is 79% right now with a 70% chance of rain. Sunny outside so far.

75.54 Cloudy with 50% chance of rain. Possible showers and thunderstorms before 3pm. New rainfall amounts expected of less than 1/10 inch. More possible during thunderstorms. This hour is the highest chance of rain. Not much going on right now. We've only had sprinkles thus far. We need rain very badly, and no rain in sight for the next week. I'd rather plant DL's after a good rain, especially in the old tree garden under drought conditions, as it is a hill, but I've no choice at this point. I'll mulch and water and pray.

Decaffeinating now (couldn't resist, Ginny ) and on to more painting and indoor stuff.

Warm here still feels like summer.

91 with 66% humidity here. Not exactly fall weather but not full blown summer either. Rain is desperately needed.

Steady rain started in the night and continues now. Nothing damaging so far. Total .25 at this point. Supposed to continue.

Late yesterday on the east side of town a severe storm did hit blowing off one roof and trees down. Also power outages. Thankful that was not here. Thanks for the prayers!!

Just heard there was a tornado touch down outside of Tucson yesterday!
