Larry we don't fertilize our plants but we do amend the soil with a lot of well composted manure from a local company called Palmetto Supreme. Here is a video about my compost supplier if anyone is interested https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=...

I have a friend who will let me clean out her chicken houses for the manure. Right now I am putting it on my compost pile, it should be ready in 4 to 6 months. If I keep getting the manure I will have to start another compost pile. Back in my early gardening days I put fresh chicken poop on my plants. I hear all y'all laughing already.

Not laughing here, just don't have any available, my neighbor is now using her chicken manure .

I received my dls today also and they are beauties!! Looking forward til spring!!

Just thought I would be planting daylilies today. Friday low predicted to be 34 degrees, now I will be scrambling to transplant all the plants that have to come in for the winter. For example; a 7' avocado tree, a 4'x4' crown of thorns, a lime tree loaded with fruit, and various other cold sensitive plants, Xmas cactus, succulents, etc. I have been lollygagging all summer about not repotting them, and now I am paying the price for it! The temps will rebound next week, I will able to plant the daylilies then. Daylilies are tough plants, I think they will be ok.

I'm going to leave this up until next Monday for any last minute shoppers who may be just now seeing this. Thank you everyone who purchased plants from us. I hope you all get plenty of blooms in 2020
