Just thought I would be planting daylilies today. Friday low predicted to be 34 degrees, now I will be scrambling to transplant all the plants that have to come in for the winter. For example; a 7' avocado tree, a 4'x4' crown of thorns, a lime tree loaded with fruit, and various other cold sensitive plants, Xmas cactus, succulents, etc. I have been lollygagging all summer about not repotting them, and now I am paying the price for it! The temps will rebound next week, I will able to plant the daylilies then. Daylilies are tough plants, I think they will be ok. D'Oh!
Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin.
