I have daylilies that bloomed out but sending up scapes not on the same fan.Then i have some that are not bloomed out
sending up scapes on different fan. So i did research a little they dont explain well. So could someone help with this
so i know exactly what is the difference.

If I'm reading what you are saying correctly........ if it's sending up scapes on fans that have not had scapes then it's just the first scapes on those fans. Not all of the fans will send scapes up together in the season.

The AHS dictionary used to explain it a little more in detail (or so I thought) before it got revamped. Rebloom and Recurrent mean same thing (from what I have read)

Rebloom is sending up another scape from a fan that has already had a scape bloom (bloomed out). It could be a couple weeks later or a couple months later.
Instant rebloom means it sends up a scape as soon as the other scape is finshed blooming OR at the same time the other scape is blooming.

Thats what i wanted to know if they can send scapes up at different times in the growing season
I have never had it happen before and now it is. So it got me questining whats rebloom, instant rebloom
and just late scapes. Thanks Michele

I have always thought of rebloom, as one scape finishes blooming and another scape then emerges.

And recurrent as one scape is blooming and another scape emerges while scape number 1 is still blooming.

A purchased a few of Karol Emmerich's for their recurrent bloom since here north of Boston there is not sufficient time for rebloom to occur. (Needs a longer rest period)

I once compared notes with Gail Korn on our growing conditions, the same plants and her many reblooms and my hardly any reblooms. We concluded that her growing season AND her number of heat days (over 90) were much higher than mine.

I live north of Boston and Gail lives in Nebraska. I am zone 6 and she is zone 5 (now maybe 4?)

Recurrent is a term that is new to me in the last year or so.

Crown of Creation has a fan that has three scapes coming out of it. Never saw that before.

I can imagine that THAT poor fan is doomed! Triplets?
