I am trying out posting video on Youtube. I made a slideshow of pics of my daylily beds and blooms from my daylily seedlings. I posted the video on Youtube. Please check it out. As a newbie to video posting and creation, I would appreciate any advice and criticisms.

I agree with the above comments!

You did a great job, Karen. The video is very professional, and the photography and arrangement is excellent. I don't think you have to change anything.

I love your daylilies, too, so beautiful and well cared for. I tip my hat to you. Hurray! Lovey dubby

Well heck.....what a beautiful presentation! Helps me to remember all the things I like about daylilies. Knowing a little bit about the person who made the video helps with the enjoyment too...lol. You are a great daylily ambassador, Karen!

The clump shots are particularly beautiful. I get complaints from time to time about not being willing to ship many plants, but seeing a tall bloomer, especially with a watermark is hard for me to divide. This video makes the case with a big exclamation point!

My only critique, even though the music was excellent, would be to imagine the same images, but with a background of Grateful Dead music....ah perfection. Rolling on the floor laughing Of course, the video would need to be longer because they didn't play many songs under ten minutes....lol.

Thank you, Karen....for being a bright light in a sometimes overcast world!

Steve,
Probably not Truckin', though that was my first thought...

Truckin' - got my chips cashed in
Keep Truckin - like the doodah man
Together - more or less in line
Just keep Truckin on

More possibly Box of Rain, though:

Look out of any window
any morning, any evening, any day
Maybe the sun is shining
birds are winging or
rain is falling from a heavy sky -
What do you want me to do,
to do for you to see you through?
this is all a dream we dreamed
one afternoon long ago

Wow, BIG BIG BIG Thank You! to everyone for your kind and supportive comments! Thank you so much for the acorns too! I am elated and on clouds 9! Love music and flowers so much that it is a natural thing for me to combine the two but I did not know how to or the energy/health to attempt it before. It is such an encouragement and joy to know that you all like it and enjoy it. Since my creative juices are flowing, I already have an idea of another flower video in the making. Hilarious! Hilarious! Hilarious! This one I may need all of your help on.

Music preference is a very personal thing! I know not everyone is into Latin, jazz, orchestra kind of thing. One thing I learn from this experience in making the video is you better like the music. No, not like! You better love the music! Because at the end of the project after all the editing, you will have listened to the music over 100 times! It was so bad for my DH that he hid in his hobby room all week while I played around with the video and editing. Big Grin Hilarious! Hilarious! Hilarious!

Steve, I don't know much about Grateful Dead and its music to do its justice. Perhaps, you or Sue are in a better position to create a video setting Grateful Dead music to daylilies than me for sure! Sue, love the verses of Box of Rain! That may work!

Oh my word. Steve, 10 acorns, really? My cup, rather my plastic seedling milk jug, runneth over!! Hilarious!

And tie dye is not out of the question, considering. I have a patterned double which, if crossed with one of my CP seedlings (perhaps Cranky Rooster X CP), just might do something like that! Hurray!

Karen you inspire all of us. Love the video and your beautiful seedlings. I wasn't the first, but I was surely the third Rolling on the floor laughing
My only itch was the lyrics to the second song. It force the viewer to focus more on the lyrics than the flowers which are more beautiful than the lyrics Angel . Nevertheless, I have to say well done I tip my hat to you.
I am proud of you young lady.

Karen,

I bet there are a lot of hybridizers that would love to use you gift of presentation in regards with their own seedlings and introductions. You should put out a "for hire" shingle!
