Hello My Friends
Great snappies of pink flowers and such. Not much happenin' in the way of blooms. Here are some from a while back. Little glimpses of summertime.

Kathy, absolutely BEAUTIFUL! That pink thunbergia is out of this world. I have had my eye on it , now I know I have to have one. Is that delphinium under the coral bells? Too hot for them here, they languish in the heat. Same for the foxgloves. I do plant them from time to time, but treat them as expensive annuals because they rarely come back the second year.

Love this PINK thread !

Lynda, yes, delphinium. Love them and buy tiny plants by the flat for spring planting. Most of them come back the following year.

We had a spectacular pink sun rise today. No picture, sorry.
Expecting a snow storm late today. Oh well, you know the old saying 'Red sky in morning, sailor take warning'.

Here's what the tiny delphinium starts develop into in the first year:

Wow, the guinea head fritillaries! Only seen these once in someone's yard. I sure would like to plant some, think I will now after seeing yours. The stores around here only sell fully grown delphiniums in bloom, and not that much any more. I did grow one onetime that was somewhat more resistant to heat, a dwarf one that had an open pattern of flower stalks, the flowers being a spurred dark blue.

Quite pink - asters in both shots. From my new site, on which I post a new bee pic every day (with the odd pollinator thrown in now and then as a bonus):

I think it's worth a look. It sure is a lot of fun so far.

More pink, although the tomatoes are really purple and green striped.

The marigolds are called strawberry blond and have a distinct pink tone. The salvia is the red Texas sage.

Gina, those are purple bumblebee cherry tomatoes, they are really purple and metallic green striped. They look pinky because of the color of the cloth I photographed them on. My go to tomato. Tough, wonderful, delicious, gets huge vines( mine were about 18 feet long last summer), impervious to heat and humidity. Eye and mouth candy. Here's another pic, they look more purple in this one.

Still not as purple as they really are!
