Wow, the guinea head fritillaries! Only seen these once in someone's yard. I sure would like to plant some, think I will now after seeing yours. The stores around here only sell fully grown delphiniums in bloom, and not that much any more. I did grow one onetime that was somewhat more resistant to heat, a dwarf one that had an open pattern of flower stalks, the flowers being a spurred dark blue.
