Hit the 'quote' at the bottom right of your post box.

The quote will have some code that starts with [ quote] and ends with [/ quote] I added spaces so you can see what it looks like.
And you can also remove some of the text between the quote like I did above if you only want part of it quoted, just don't erase any of that code with the brackets or you break the function.
