I've never grown it so I don't know how it would transplant into a tub.

Oh Ok, a tub, not a tube! Hilarious! and I think there is some loss of translation here. By tub, do you mean a pot? Tub to me is a bathtub.

Garden Sages Plant Identifier
Fireweed grows from a rhizome so you can dig and separate in the fall. Don't worry about breaking the rhizomes as that seems to encourage it to grow even faster. Smiling You can also grow it from cuttings (I've never tried). Fireweed is a member of the Evening Primrose family so there's not much you can do to kill it and once you have it, its an aggressive grower.

Agree, fireweed. Seems to settle right into burned areas. An aggressive seeder, I would say. Don't think I would keep it but is quite lovely in the wild.
