We only look for items sweetened with erythritol, (use in moderation to avoid mild tummy ache) stevia or monk fruit. No artificial sweeteners, hubby can't stand the chemical after taste. We pretty much gave up sugar 2 years ago when hubby went from pre-diabetic with a blood glucose of 6.8% to diabetic of 9.2%. Cutting out sugar and almost all carbs, which convert to elevated blood glucose, he dropped 45 lbs and got his blood glucose count down to 5% so is no longer a diabetic. I lost 20 lbs following the same program.
