I have never gotten a tree- mail that wasn't personal.

It would appear that Mogardenflags just joined and they haven't been active on the site at all, except for that tree-mail they sent you.

It looks like it's probably a spam t-mail. If it's been sent to others as well, hopefully they'll check in and let the admins know.

Yes, quite right Rj, the thing that surprises me is that they didn't include a link.

I think I'd respond and give them a link to the Classified Forum: https://garden.org/forums/view... and tell them to post their ad there.

I just noticed I have the same message this morning

Lvke appears to be a new member and he/she should have posted on the Classified Forum or Ask a Question Forum, rather than sending tree mails to promote the product.

I banned the spammer and bulk deleted all their tree mail spams.

Not quite sure what you mean as this thread is about spam in t-mails. If you are seeing ads in forums, until you have over 100 contributions to the database, you can then opt to turn that off. Your other ID, wcgypsy, qualified with over 1,100 images and other details, not sure why you never logged back on that account.

She got a new computer last year and had trouble logging in and didn't want to bother Dave, I think that's how I remember it.

Yep, that would explain why she's getting ad's. To disable ads, she will have to either make the required contributions to the site under her new account ... or, figure out how to log in with her old account user id/ password.

I got the same tree mail a few weeks ago but I couldn't open the link. my system did me a favor by refusing to open. it was from lvke.

Brenda, why would you even click on an unknown link? At least it sounds like you have a good anti-virus but it's never a good idea to open any link from an unknown source.

I would just ask them if furniture shipping is free. Then report them.

about the ads and contributing pictures. Is there a place that keeps track of that and how many you still need to hit the 100 mark. I guess 100 is still the number to get to.
