Seedfork said:I went to Ron Reimer's sight and saw immediately why I had none of his plants and they had not been on my radar. He just does dips and I am mostly just buying tets, but do still trade for dips. So that cut out my main interest (Sculpted Relief). But I am very interested now that I read what he breeds for, rust resistance and sun fastness. So I may soon end up with at least a few of his dips in my garden after I decide just which ones to try.
I looked over the list and was surprised at the prices on some of the older (2015) plants, and a little disappointed in the branch count and bud count on some of the plants. Now that may just be because I am used to looking at the Pierce and Stamile branch and bud counts which I have yet to come close to with the plants grown in my own garden. I am still hopeful!
So I will definitely be keeping an eye out in the gardens I visit and looking for some of Ron Reimer's plants, and would be interested in trades if anyone is interested.

I don't know how I missed it the first time as I have been on the hunt for rust-resistant daylilies.
I ordered two to try this spring and will be happy to report back on how they do.

That is great to hear, Jason! When I emailed Ron awhile ago about ordering, I asked if he knew how his daylilies were likely to do in the South. He told me he wasn't sure but knew that someone in Texas was growing some. He must have meant you!
I'm glad to know they have done well for you so far. That is very encouraging.
