We came from here
The thread "Our Orchid blooms in February 2021 💕" in Orchids forum

It is March 1., Winter in NJ is broken and with Vaccines arriving, there is light at the end of the tunnel!! Life is good, and we have Orchids to show!! Smiling
Right now the nobile type Dendrobiums are still looking pretty and a third one has joined the fray. This is a noid. I saw the nice looking plant with its pretty variegation last Fall at Dearborn Market/Holmdel. ( Nice to see true Hobbyists in charge of a nursery!!)
edited, see below! This is surely Dendrobium Siam White! Thanks Bill for the id!

'Love Letter' and Red Emperor are very enjoyable this season!!

This Dendrobium Miva Abracadabra was in full bud when I bought it, also from Dearborn. ( I was just picking up some Veggies and Cheese.... Rolling on the floor laughing )

Epidendrum Miura Valley will bloom for a while

Now this Onc Sharry Baby 'Sweet Fragrance' was amongst my earliest purchase when I started to get into Orchids, I bought it about 1990/1991 at Heart's Ease in Califon NJ. I restarted it a couple of years ago, it blooms regularly for me.

The obese lady (can't say fat lady any longer) might not yet be singing, but I hear her clearing her throat. nodding She's singing here loud and clear.

The reason it's so hard to lose weight when you get up in age is because your body and your fat have become good friends.

I vote for this one - if anyone complains, tell them you were just saying they're pretty as a classic painting by a famous artist. Big Grin
Chances are, the younger generation won't have a clue who Reuben was anyway. Hilarious!

What a beautiful start to the new month!
It feels like we've skipped spring and moved right into summer..the AC has been running at my house.
The more I see your nobile dendrobiums, Ursula, the more tempted I get. I wonder if it's too hot here for them?
My bletilla is up and looking great this year. No spikes yet but they seem to be multiplying. Hurray!
And on the bench, some new stuff. Our orchid club is doing a display this weekend and I hope some of these still look good enough then.

Beautiful stuff there, Lindsey. Yeah, we've been running AC from around noonish till 5:00. It's that time of year, open windows/doors early and late.

How come Lindsey's flowers are not all yellow? Everything around here is covered in pollen.
