I discovered this plant hiding in the very back of the yard. It's about 7" tall at the moment. I think it's Ornithogalum Major but not positive. I'd like to transplant it into the flower garden or a pot. It's growing in very dense clay soil at the moment.

Thanks. I considered that but it seems there are several different names for the plant but they don't all appear to be the same.

Mac, I have them too. There's several different varieties of them. I think it will be fine to move it after the bloom is over. Here's mine.

@gardenfish Thanks Lynda. I'll wait until later then. There's been an outbreak of those things all over the local area. Just about every roadside area is at least partially covered with them.

@plantladylin Lin, thanks for your reply. I think the database shows 3 or 4 different names. There must be some, at least minor, differences. I'm not real good at plant identifications.

I think it's Brent and Becky's bulbs where I saw all the different varieties. That's how I identified mine in the first place, I looked at their website. nodding
