Looks like a phlox, maybe a type of woodland phlox.

It looks like woodland phlox to me too. I have a patch of `Blue Moon' woodland phlox in my garden and this year I have some growing about 15 feet away from the original plant. I didn't expect it to spread by seed, but evidently it did.

I agree with blue23rose and Hamwild - Phlox divaricata. It's native to the Midwest including Cincinnati and could have arrived by seed.
