It reminds me of "Blue Eyed Grass", Sisyrinchiums (Sisyrinchium) There may be several varieties that grow in your area.

plantladylin said:I did a google search and these varieties are apparently found in N.Y.
Eastern Blue-Eyed Grass (Sisyrinchium atlanticum)
Narrowleaf Blue-Eyed Grass (Sisyrinchium angustifolium)
Mountain Blue-Eyed Grass (Sisyrinchium montanum)

Well, I'm a little embarrassed, been away for a year or more, and just noticed that I have a picture from the past in Eastern-blue-eyed-grass-Sisyrinchium-atlanticum. It is new to me this year anyway! Thank you so much.

LOL, no reason to be embarrassed, I have plants that I've grown for years and sometimes can't for the life of me remember what they are and I have to post photos here to have them identified! I have no excuse other than I'm getting old. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing
