Today, on a trip to Lancaster PA I saw a beautiful yarrow in one lady's yard. I wish I had thought to take a picture of it, but I didn't! It was a deep , DARK RED--not pinkish--yarrow. It didn't have a white center. The lady said she bought it, and it just said 'red yarrow". Can gardeners who are familiar with yarrows give me their best guesses as to which yarrow that one might be? I think it looked similar to this picture of Pomegranate yarrow, but could it be a different one? Thanks for your help!

Sue, thanks for that good suggestion! I think the Summerwine picture matches best the color I remember--sort of a deep red-burgundy color. But I'd appreciate any other input.
