If you like orange, then this is one for you. It reached its registered height and bloom size on a consistent basis. It is a vigorous plant. I would recommend giving it plenty of room. I only removed from my garden due to having limited space and this one seemed to be eating up a more space than I was willing to give it.

Have had this one for several years, it is a great orange daylilies. It's branched like a tree and most years blooms a long time here in Northern IL. It is a definite keeper in my book

I need to see it another year for evaluation, but so far, my reaction is that the color is not as interesting as its pictures.

I bought Vitamin C from NGA's own Lisa Klette (lilydaydreamer) in 2016 and have not regretted it one bit! I always said I didn't want to buy any orange daylilies, but I was wrong this time because at 44" tall with sturdy scapes, it is a stunner!

6/15/2018 - first bloom is usually mid-June and has bloomed until the first week of August. I've not had any rebloom.

7/24/21 - I get some scapes with 4-way branching, but most are 2 to 3-way. I counted 9 fans this past spring, so it has multiplied at a moderate pace.

7/2/21 - This picture just shows the orange shading with other daylilies. To the right of Vitamin C is Rhinestone Kid and King of Swing. I've not seen any rust on it

Described as a deep burnt orange with a red eye and edge, Most of the time the eye and edge just look like a darker shade of the burnt orange, but there have been a few times where it looked red.

This is one daylily that isn't going out of my garden any time soon Thumbs up

Vitamin C has been a tough, vigorous plant for me. Quickly grew to a 3-4' clump. Blooms usually have a "zing" to their coloration that doesn't show up well in photos but attracts attention in person. I believe branching is typically 3-way yet I can count on it to put on a very pleasing show every year-- seems like always a ton of blooms and always multiple open at the same time. I think it's a great daylily.

You're welcome, Vickie! That's a terrific job of reporting on performance. I especially appreciate clump shots and scape pics like the ones you did so well👍🏻

My garden doesn't lend itself to taking comparable pics but you've inspired me to try to do better!

Thanks, Pat! There are some pics that I definitely crop to make it look better, like when my neighbors trash cans get in the pic. Hate it when the background messes up a great clump shot, lol!
