Is there a Salvia splendens called White Swan? I didn't take this photo, was just posting photos from online retailers who gave permission to post their photos. If it is in fact Salvia splendens, I'll request it be moved to the right place.

Thanks.

Well they call it Salvia horminum which is a synonym of S. viridis
https://www.outsidepride.com/s...

But the blooms are not right as mentioned and it is not the first time this company has listed things incorrectly.

here is another company listing S. White Swan and it's quite different.

And here is the exact same photo on another company site, listed as Salvia splendens 'Vista White'

Since we have that entry Salvia (Salvia splendens Vista™ White) I'll move it to Salvia (Salvia splendens Vista™ White)

Various websites label the seeds S. horminum or S. viridis, which are synonyms, but that particular photo from Outside Pride doesn't look right, or like the photos on other sites. That photo does look like S. splendens

Edit to add: cross-posted with Sue. Got distracted while writing similar info.
