This information is going out in our email newsletter tomorrow, but I figured you all would enjoy having a first chance to know about it:

A company has been hard at work making a new kind of gardening hose. Before bringing it to market they want real actual gardeners to get their hands on this hose and use it. In mid to late March they will send a free hose to everyone on this panel, and in the months that follow they will send an email to each person asking them some specific questions to answer.

Oh, I have been in need of a new hose for one area of my garden, good timing, thanks Dave!

Same here! Definitely checking this out...

I sure would. Every hose I buy develops a kinking issue. Many weak spots seem to be in the hoses I buy.

I need a new hose to use in the front yard as the ones that have been used were not good in one way or another. Filled out the form to participate in this trial.

Hoses drive me nuts! I have yet to find a good hose that doesn't kink or is easy to unwind without requiring me to physically untwist it to get it to lie flat/straight. I have hoses in all day full sun as well as partial shady areas, but none are easy to use. Hoses frustrate me more than any other garden "tool" that I use. I hope they pick me as one of the 50 on the panel because I will give their newly designed hose a good workout and an honest evaluation!

I'm also willing to get and use a free garden hose. One is stored year-round in my garage. The second one is outside 365/24/7.
