Uploading Photos in the Site Talk forum

Hi, I recently found this site and started uploading some photos to your daylily database. The first 20 or so uploaded fine, but now whenever I try to upload a photo, it appears sideways. The last two I submitted: Hemerocallis Moon Over Narnia, and Hemerocallis Midnight Merlot, were uploaded on their sides and I didn't notice until I clicked submit and now they don't look right. I can't seem to find a setting that would allow me to rotate them counter clockwise so that they will be in the upright position. Also, I have tried to upload about 10 more, and every time the photo appears turned on its side so I have cancelled them instead of submitting more crooked pictures. Any idea how I can rotate those 2 that are on their sides, and also make sure that any others I try to submit will be uploaded in the upright position? Thanks!

The webmaster, Dave, is currently working on this issue. He just recently redesigned the site and switched it onto a new server. He'll probably have it fixed soon.

In the meantime, you could try rotating the photo manually on your computer using JPEG Lossless Rotator:

This allows you to view the actual orientation of a JPEG image captured by your camera/phone, rather than the OS using the orientation setting in the metadata to show it the "right way up".

I figure too that Dave is on top of this. When the bug is fixed I think the ones on their sides will be normal or as intended.
