So now it is 2022. My massive reset let my husband remove my tags! Now I am going through the painful process of identification. All of my iris are rebloomers from Sutton's. So this is a solid peach/apricot with bright orange beards. It has grown like crazy from the reset and has a ton of blooms. I have spent hours researching every one I bought. I even made an album in photos of what I should have. Does anyone recognize this girl?

There are so many similar ones. Hope you can still enjoy it as "orange iris - no ID" because it is quite pretty.

I would say check out Orange Popsicle but even the database pictures are so varied you wonder if they are all the same iris. Breath of Dawn might be too recent.

Were they recent purchases? I went to their website and searched on rebloomer and several oranges showed up. You might try that!

I have one very much like that, same color and same kind of beard. It may be the same cultivar. I too have no idea what its name is. It's a beautiful thing, gets very tall and lots of buds per stalk. I've had my peach get to 44-46" with massive branches. I got it from a friend when she sent me over some other known cultivars, but she says that she doesn't ever recall seeing it. She's an iris show judge. She saw it in my garden in all its glory, and said that it is definitely "show worthy" with the candelabra budding. Alas, she has no idea. I even sent several pics to our local chapter of AIS and no one had a clue. But, there are so many buff-peach-pinkish irises that it's almost impossible to know.

Hi again, Gail. Looks like you have two threads on this question! Hilarious! In the other thread I mentioned that it could have been a gift iris, so maybe look over Sutton's inventory and see if anything matches. But as others have said, it may have to just be a NOID. Very pretty, though!
