Does anyone know where I can get this rose?

How long have you had this rose? If you have grown it for awhile, can you share how it's doing for you? Thanks!

This will be her second full year, having been planted late Fall 2020. Ill post pics when it blooms. Gorgeous flowers. Peter has amazing collection, although they are fairly small upon arrival. Still, even given Fall planting all have done fabulously well. I keep his HMF page where there is a partial list of his roses, many of which are available for custom propagation in addition to those he lists.

I got this rose from Palatine a couple of yrs ago. It's blooming right now, but the thrips LOVE it! I don't spray. It looks a lot more white with a lighter pink center right now. Loaded with blooms. They all just look like crap tho. LOL

@vaporvac I would love to see pics of your Forever Rose when it grows and blooms this year. Did you plant the rose outside when you received it? Or did you keep it protected for the winter and plant it out in spring?

@Beth_NorCal Beth, I am so sorry that all your blooms are ruined by thrips. It is such a shame that this rose is attractive to thrips. I may just have to make an exception for this rose and spray it. It is just so beautiful - love its bitone color.

I planted it out directly upon receipt, either late Oct. or early Nov. The low that winter was +8F, so not too terribly cold, but cold enough for a little rose. I planted it deeply and covered loosely with oak leaves. Even the runt of the litter, Paul Jerabek, made it through unscathed experiencing Zero die-back on all. Ive had some disasters over-wintering inside so have been relying on Fall planting. Even my directly struck cuttings from Nov. went through this winters +4F with no issue except disturbance by unkown critters!😣

Yes, generally in the Fall. Send him an email asking for availability. It may take him a day or so to get back to you. Ive ordered numerous roses and have picked up many in person when visiting his garden. They can be on the smaller side, but he has SO MANY rare ones, its worth. Mine have all done great!
