Maybe some type of allium?

Yup, looks like an onion, maybe ornamental maybe culinary. Leave it, the flower is pretty.

Thanks, I planted an allium. I just thought I put it somewhere else. I planted many things last year.

I was just worried, because last year, there was a similar flower that I thought was a poppy and ended up to be pure seedlings that spilled everywhere - a weed.

I bought this because it was heavily advertised as being a globe of beauty. I didn't realize it was an onion! Lol

Thanks! It's a Gladiator Allium. I lost track where I planted it, because I planted many bulbs last year. I only planted one allium and expected it elsewhere. I thought it was a weed - like a weed I had last year that I believed was a poppy and was excited to see that spilled out unattractive seeds everywhere. Thanks again.

Here is the plant - Gladiator Allium! It is grown now. Thanks, I thought it was a seedy thing that would create weeds. I planted many bulbs last year and forgot I planted this Allium where it was. I was also under the impression an Allium would be 6 feet tall and have a thicker stem. It's a small stem and it's 3 feet tall.
