I dutifully labeled these dahlias, but they are not identified correctly. I had this one as Color Spectacle, but the blooms are not as described on the packaging. Anyone here recognize this dahlia?

Thanks for looking at the post Cali_Sue, I purchased both this one (labeled Color Spectacle) and the other (Lucky Number) from a big box store, probably Lowes.
I no longer buy dahlias there, and now buy exclusively from reputable growers.

Yeah, those imported varieties are notorious for mislabeled bulbs. These are mass produced for the landscape and big box stores.
Most here buy specialty dahlias direct from growers.

So many dahlias look alike in color, size or form that's it's often hard/impossible to pinpoint one from a photo. If you know the name of the seller, as Sue mentioned, it might narrow down the possibilities.
