Hurray! Fred and Nan! I look forward to these reports even when I'm under nearly 2 feet of snow. Following the scape sightings as they move north means we'll see ours eventually! Smiling

Wow! I think I still have several weeks before I see scapes. Usually get first blooms at the very end of May.

Today I found a scape on 'Pleated Perfection', I have found no scapes yet on any of my seedlings.
Thumb of 2023-03-09/Seedfork/c8e011
I found that scape as I was watering with the new soaker hose, so far I am really impressed with it. I kept it going all day today, moving it from one spot to another. It takes a little while working with it to figure out how to move it around and place it next to the plants. I started off with the timer using it for 45 min. at a time, then moving it. Now I am down to 30 min. and it seems to be doing a great job. It sure beats me standing there holding a hose for hours. I use Siri to set an alarm and I do have one timer on on of the faucets so I am thinking of getting at least one more of the hoses I like it so well.
So proud of myself today, while the hose was doing the watering I was working on my first ever spreadsheet. I wanted to learn how to do them because I see where they come in so handy. I made one for the club plant sales, not sure we will have one with our guest speaker this Saturday he is filling in so may not have any plants ready yet. I got the spreadsheet just like I wanted it and it only took me 1.3 million tries to get it right.
edited to add: that was the wrong photo: that is actually a photo of 'Spacecoast Behavior Pattern', I was taking for daylily of the day.
Here is my real 'Pleated Perfection' photo.

No scapes here yet, and considering the cold forecast (more 20 degree nights and a handful of snow possibilities, including maybe accumulating(), I don't want to see them yet for fear of frost kill.

Everyone has fans poking up at least a little bit, some a lot, except for Sunglasses Needed, which has been limping along. One crown rotted immediately after I got it a few years ago, and the other has been gradually getting stronger. It had a single, gorgeous bloom on a small scape last summer. I keep looking for it each day, but no sign of emergence yet. Maybe when it eventually turns warmer again.
