Today I have Apricot Whisper. It has a light rose fragrance.



And a fernleaf hybrid

Beautiful early blooms, LG! Love Apricot Whisper! The flowers' pretty color and sweet simple form make it a treat to look at. I like it a lot. THanks for posting. So glad to see the nice blooms. Were these affected by the freeze? Were they covered?

Neither of these peonies were covered during the big freeze. No buds had to be pinched off either.

Liz is heading to her peony garden and hopefully she will have blooms to share.

Prosperity Maude has such delicate blooms but is very tough.




Abalone Pearl was not covered at all during the big freeze and looks great.





Nothing else has opened.

I really like those simple, early, pale, single types; there's something ethereal about them.

Where I am, after a rainy weekend and a few chilly mornings, the late spring flowers really started taking off a couple days ago.

Coral Sunset doesn't seem very happy in that location (maybe because it's a bit crowded and gets overgrown with weeds), but I do like that combination.

AnnaK, it's amazing your Minnie Shaylor is blooming already. It is one of my favorites.
And I like the iris/coral combo very much.

That Coral Sunset is a real Stunner.. would luv to see it fully open..

Stunning first flowers of the season! We've had some heat here this week which has really gotten things going. Hoping for a mild next few weeks with some gentle rains. A girl can dream can't she?

Anna, your Minnie Saylor and Coral Sunset are beautiful. The Corals are such a vigorous and almost carefree peony. I started out with one Coral Sunset but now I have about 4 due to their adventitious roots. That's not counting 3 that I gave away.
