African Daisies...Osteospermum Ecklonis,
very drought tolerant, free blooming, no pests or diseases.
They seem to thrive on neglect.
Oxalis pes-caprae, aka African wood-sorrel, Bermuda buttercup, Bermuda sorrel, buttercup oxalis, Cape sorrel, English weed, goat's-foot, sourgrass, soursob or soursop.
We used to munch on "sour grass" while waiting for
the school bus in elementary school.
It's the first to bloom here in spring, & dies back, hidden in the
soil without water until the next spring.

I wish I had a lawn full of oxalis like this on the other side of
the fence.
But I do have them coming up in a pot of day lilies.
