Hello plant family,

My canna is growing nicely, however, one of the leaf is turning brown around the edges. What could cause that issue. I have it in a huge pot sun and partial shade. I can take a picture if that would help. Thanks for your help.

Pic would help, seen that when they get to dry.

Looks good to me, but must water. Cannas love water, and we don't have any rain forecast nor had much in about 2 weeks.
I've put smaller Cannas (Tropicanna) in pots but they don't grow near as much as in ground, and I blame mostly that pots dry out faster than I water.
Plant it and they will come.

The soil of your plant Canna (Canna x generalis 'Musaefolia Rubra') ? appears extremely dry to me. Depending on the temperature and how much direct sun it receives you may need to water once a week, especially during the warm summer months. When watering, thoroughly soak the entire soil mass until water is freely exiting the drainage holes of the pot. Try to keep the soil consistently damp but not soggy wet and not overly dry.

I couldn't find a listing anywhere for a Canna Manisiofolia but whichever one you have, they all require the same care and culture.
