The soil of your plant
Canna (Canna x generalis 'Musaefolia Rubra') ? appears extremely dry to me. Depending on the temperature and how much direct sun it receives you may need to water once a week, especially during the warm summer months. When watering, thoroughly soak the entire soil mass until water is freely exiting the drainage holes of the pot. Try to keep the soil consistently damp but not soggy wet and not overly dry.
I couldn't find a listing anywhere for a Canna Manisiofolia but whichever one you have, they all require the same care and culture.
