Dave - Your UF seedlings are looking good! The middle one is my favorite.

Here are some of my better ones from this morning:

Jurassic Pink X Bubblegum Queen #1 - I never got a clean bloom on Jurassic Pink in the three years I grew it. But there's no splotchiness on this baby. The bloom is about 6.5 inches.


Stenciled Infusion X Royal Cypher #2 ffo - I can't believe how much the pattern has changed since it first bloomed last year!


Razor Sharp X Seedling #2


Dancing Flamingo X Dearest Valentine


Gypsy Cats seedling x (Razor Sharp X SC Night Vision) #2 - This is the same one I posted when it first bloomed showing a grayed purple petal color, the result of cool night temps. Now that it's warmer. it opens purple sans the gray overlay.


Untamed Heart X All Things to All Men ffo

My choices: #3=#1 , #2=#2 although they are all very nice.

The seedling story

So, I go out a couple of days ago and find this FFE

thinking to meself this is gonna be one ugly seedling.

Having experienced really ugly FFEs before methinks I'll give it another bloom before I rip it out of the ground

Today I go out and find the 2nd bloom

I believe I'll keep it

(Symphony of Praise x Henry Lorrain) x Bubblegum Queen - I've been calling this one the BQ dud for the previous two days. But today I sort of like it. It has a 9-inch bloom on a 32-inch scape with 18 buds.

I have not measured (Liz Mullins x Lillian's David Phillips) , but guessing between 5-6 inches, a large.

Debra, the BQ "dud" is lovely. Looks bitoned from the photo Lots of beautiful seedlings in your garden!

Dave, I had that happen last year, FFE on a really dark purple was soooo bad. Luckily, for it, it straightened out and earned another year. Great, big red eye on that seedling

I like the watermark and bolder color on #1, Debra.

Larry I just love it.

They're all beautiful, but I'm really taken with that first one, Debra!
